Immediate past Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Barr. Abubakar Malami, has commended members of the APC National lntegrity Movement (ANIM), for their steadfastness and resolve in the buildup to the 2023 general elections that gave victory to the ruling party.
Receiving the Executive Members of the group on a courtesy visit in his office in Abuja, Malami said he felt excited with the formation of the group when the idea was first mooted to him and had watched with keen interest as the group has been growing in leaps and bounds.
According to Malami, “Coming together at the time you did,signifies a collective determination to help the party reinvent itself,paving the way for the successes recorded which we are all proud of today.
“I am excited to see that you have not derailed from the concept that borders around integrity, and l am trusting in your abilities to rededicate yourselves to the common good of our country.”
He charged the group to explore the good narratives of its existence, saying, “Coming together brings forth a host of opportunities for growth. The group must therefore explore these narratives and the promising prospects it holds both for individuals and collectively.:
Responding, the ANIM leader, Sadiq Fakai, according to a statement by Mr Lanre Asiwaju on behalf of ANIM Media Office, thanked the former Minister for his support and prayers, promising that “we shall continue to exemplify a resolute dedication to fostering unity and chatting a new course from the traditional norms to a new path of progress.”
