Remains of Madam Aishetu Ojeifo, mother of the publisher and editor-in-chief of THE CONCLAVE online newspaper, Mr Sufuyan Ojeifo, will be interred on Friday, this week (November 22, 2024) at her residence, No 2 Catholic Church Road, Agbede, Edo State.

Madam Ojeifo died on October 12, 2024, at the age of 92, in a brief illness at her residence in Owo, Ondo State, leaving behind worthy legacies of service to God and humanity.

The funeral rites, according to Mr Sufuyan Ojeifo, would commence on Thursday, November 21, 2024 with a wake at her residence, No 4, Clerks’ Quarters Road, Behind the Police Station/Barrack, Ijebu Quarters, Owo in Ondo State.

The session would be coordinated by her local church-The Gospel Faith Mission, Alaafia Assembly, Ashewa Street, where she fellowshipped – and served God with her life, time and substance.

After the interment on Friday in Agbede, there would be a special church service in honour of the matriarch of the Ojeifo family at The Gospel Faith Mission, Alaafia Assembly in Owo on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 9 am.

Ojeifo said that thereafter, the family would host friends and well-wishers to a grand reception, tagged “A celebration of the life and times of Madam Aishetu Ojeifo” at 10.30 am at the Mariam Marayola Event Centre, Okedogbon Street, Owo.

The crown capping of the funeral ceremony would be a thanksgiving church service on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at the Gospel Faith Mission Alaafia Assembly, at 9 am.

Madam Aishetu Ojeifo is survived by three children-Tajudeen Ojeifo (a retired secondary school principal), Sufuyan Ojeifo (Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of THE CONCLAVE newspaper) and Mr Kabir Ojeifo (a Quantity Surveyor with the Federal Capital Development Authority, Abuja) as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters and relatives.
