Lympson Leosentino installs online real-time air quality monitoring equipment in Abuja

A private Environmental Company, Lympson Leosentino Limited, has successfully installed an online real-time air quality inventory and monitoring management system in Abuja, Nigeria.

Chief Executive Officer- Africa of the company, Dr. Efegbidiki Okobia, said the equipment has mapping capabilities, mobile applications and ability to monitor seven parameters which include Carbon Monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), PM2.5, PM10, TVOC, temperature and humidity. The device parameters is subject to client’s request.

Okobia said the equipment has a software designed by Lympson Leosentino Limited team and a hardware component designed by an Indian company AIRVEDA PVT.

He said this is one of its kind by a private environmental company in the country and call on government ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs), state governments, sub-nationals and multilateral agencies to install the equipment in their premises.

Okobia added that data from the equipment will assist in the global call for Climate Change adaptability, vulnerability, Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions data and other sectors including; health, transport, policy, investment options, pollution control, emission standards for air quality in the area of GHGs, monitoring and control.
