Lagos PDP mourns former governorship aspirant, Kitoye Branco-Rhodes

Lagos State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has expressed condolences to the entire Rhodes and Braithwaite families as well as friends of Kitoye Branco-Rhodes who just died as a result of COVID-19 complications at the age of 57years.

In a statement, State Chairman of the party, Engr Adedeji Doherty, said they were all grieved by the loss of the former governorship aspirant in the state, who was magnanimous enough to have allowed the Party makes use of his “Yard 158 Events Centre” on Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, for the 2019 party governorship primaries.”

“We are well aware of his contributions to the development of our great party, hence our grief.

“We hereby pray that God in His infinite mercies would grant families, friends and all of us in the Lagos PDP family the fortitude to bear this loss, while also praying that such incidences would cease in our midst.

“We hereby also besiege all and sundry to please stay safe at this period in the history of our dear nation,” Doherty said.
