Kwara State University (KWASU) has appointed Prof. Binta Sulyman as the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and Head of its Osi campus.
The appointment was conveyed in a letter, signed by the Registrar, Dr Kikelomo Sallee, dated Oct. 21 and made available on Wednesday to newsmen.
Sallee said the appointment was based on recognition of Sulyman’s leadership qualities and wealth of experience.
Sulyman, before this appointment, was the Head of Department, Fine and Applied Arts, as well as Director, the Centre for Archives and Documentation.
She joined the service of KWASU in 2012 and rose to the professorial rank in 2019, specialising in Art Education, Visuals and Creative Arts.
