The youngest lawmaker in Nigeria, Hon Rukayat Shittu, has listed her top 10 organizations for the year 2023.
The journalist-turned-politician listed her top 10 Organizations on X, formerly known as Twitter, in what she describes as 10 top 10, which is her top 10 in 10 different categories.
The 10 categories include top 10 artists, Top 10 movies, Top 10 politicians, Top 10 celebrities, Top 10 organizations, Top 10 women, Top 10 Youths, Top 10 countries, Top 10 errors and Top 10 moments in 2023.
In her top 10 Organizations for 2023, a leading Pro-Democracy group, Kwara Must Change, produced the novel legislative watch assessment for lawmakers to the list.
Kwara Must Change is also responsible for initiation and lobby for the appointment of 50% cabinet positions for women in Kwara State. The group also advocated for inclusion youths in the administration of Kwara State.
Others on the list include ElectHer, Yiaga Africa, and UN Women
Rukayat also listed Women Radio, an advocacy radio station for promotion and upliftment of women, as well as a peacebuilding think tank, Foundation for Peace Professionals, also known as PeacePro.
She also added Ajike People Support Centre, an NGO founder by the first lady of Kwara State, Ambassador (Dr) Olufolake Abdulrazaq.
Others include Rukayat Equity and Development Initiative (REDI), WRAPA, WARDC.
