The Nasarawa Police Command, on Sunday, said that its operatives attached to Nasarawa Division, in a sting operation, arrested the duo of Salisu Buhari, (24 years old) and his accomplice, Zubairu Ali, (27 years old), for motorcycle theft in Nasarawa LGA of Nasarawa State.
It was gathered that upon interrogation, Salisu Buhari confessed to have escaped from Kuje Prison when the facility was attacked last year, linked up with his crony, and went into criminal venture.
The arrest was effected on 6/4/2023 about 22: 00 hours.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ramhan Nansel in a statement signed on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Maiyaki Baba said preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects were responsible for most motorcycle snatching and theft in Nasarawa LGA and its environs.
The statement said that CP Maiyaki Baba had ordered the transfer of the case to State Criminal Investigation Department, Lafia, for exhaustive investigation.
