The chief judge of Kogi State, Justice Nasiru Ajanah has died apparently from complications of COVID-19 GWG has learnt. He died in an isolation centre in Abuja on Sunday morning it was gathered.
He was aged 64.
The deceased it was gathered had other complications and had recently travelled abroad which it was gathered may have complicated his infection with COVID-19.
A source in Lokoja said that it could not be readily proved that he contracted the pandemic in Kogi State given his recent travel history.
The Kogi State Government has denied the presence of the pandemic in the state.
His death follows the death about a week ago of the death of the President of the Customary Court of Appeal, Justice Ibrahim Atadoga and three days after the death of a member of the House of Assembly Mr John Abah, representing Ibaji State Constituency.
