Paramount ruler of the Ham people, 83-years-old Kpop Ham Danladi Gyet Maude, has been released by his kidnappers.
He reportedly arrived in his palace in Kwoi, Kaduna State, on Wednesday night, after spending two days in the kidnappers’ den.
He reportedly arrived in the Palace about 9.30 p.m.

It is not known if any ransom was paid for his release, though the abductors reportedly asked for N100 million.
A brother of the ruler, Mr Anthony Maude told a television station two days ago he was kidnapped on his farm located at Gitata community in Nasarawa State.
The community is located at the boundary between Kaduna and Nasarawa states.
His kidnap came weeks after the abduction of another octogenarian ruler, the Emir of Kajuru in the same troubled Kaduna State.
The state has become a playground for bandits and killers, like Niger, Kebbi, and Zamfara states.
The Kajuru emir was also released after a few days in captivity.
