Three days after they were kidnapped along the Okigwe-Enugu road in Imo state, four Catholic Reverend Sisters have been freed
The Reverend Sisters Johannes Nwodo, Christabel Echemazu, Liberata Mbamalu and Benita Agu regained their freedom on Tuesday night after spending two nights at the kidnappers’ den.
Their release was made known in a statement by the Sisters of Jesus the Saviour and signed by its Secretary-General, Zita Ihedoro.
However, it was not disclosed if any ransom was paid for the release of the sisters.
