The Aspirant for the Kaduna South Senatorial District in 2023 election, Hon Sunday Marshall Katung has appointed former Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa’s aide, Mr Reuben Buhari to head his campaign’s Communications and Media Relations Directorate.
In a statement he personally signed on Friday, January 7, 2023, Katung said Buhari, a seasoned journalist, “brings onboard a wealth of experience into this assignment.”
“It is with pleasure and in an attempt at successfully prosecuting my Senatorial ambition that I have appointed Mr Reuben Buhari to head my campaign’s Communications and Media Relations Directorate.
“Reuben Buhari, a seasoned journalist brings a wealth of experience into this assignment.
“Mr Buhari had worked as correspondent of influential news media like Thisday Newspaper, Leadership, Politico to mention a few.
“He also worked briefly as media aide to the Minister of Environment, Mrs L.L. Mallam. One of the key appointments Reuben Buhari has held was Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the Governor of Kaduna state, the late Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa.
“In this new role, Reuben will lead a crack team of tested professionals in the area of communication and Media relations to ensure that every aspect of our campaign messages and policies is mature, issue based and taken to the door steps of our people,” the statement read.
