Major General Musa assured the governor of the AFN’s unwavering commitment to supporting all regions of Nigeria, particularly Kaduna state, in the fight against insecurity. He stated that the AFN is currently reviewing its operational strategies to enhance its capabilities and achieve better results.

Major General Musa highlighted the need to strengthen both kinetic and non-kinetic approaches to operations, aiming to intensify efforts against criminal activities in the country.

He also emphasized the importance of engaging the youth in meaningful activities to reduce crime rates. In this regard, he called upon the media to consistently promote love and unity through their reports.

The CDS acknowledged that one of the challenges faced by the military in carrying out its duties is the administrative bottlenecks involved in the prosecution of criminals handed over to the civil authority for legal proceedings.
