Barring any last-minute changes in plans, the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, is set to join the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, in the two-day warning strike scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday 5th and 6th September, 2023.
In a circular signed by I.M.Adetola and addressed to JUSUN Deputy President, all zonal Vice Presidents, Chairmen/Secretaries of Branches and Chapter, the various heads were to commence mobilization of members.

“I bring you fraternal greetings from the leadership of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN).
“It is no longer news that the National Executive Council (NEC) of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) at the end of her meeting on Thursday 31 August. 2023 directed all Affiliate members to commence mobilization for a 2- day warning.strike from Tuesday and Wednesday 5th and 5th September, 2023 against the removal of subsidy without a palliative to cushion the effect of hardship resulting from the programme.
“To this end, you are advised to commence mobilization of your members in both the Branches and Chapters of our great union for the proposed action.
“JUSUN Please note that all Vice Presidents are advised to monitor their zones to ensure compliance.”
