President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Retd AIG Hakeem Odumosu as the substantive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), according to sundry media reports.
Tinubu repoetedly approved the appointment of Odumosu as substantive Chairman of the EFCC on Tuesday before travelling to Paris.
Odumosu was a former Lagos State Commissioner of Police shortly before his retirement.
His appointment is, however, subject to confirmation by the Senate.
