The National Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO) and Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD), have just announced the suspension of their planned strike until closure of discussion between both parties.
The development followed intervention of the GMD NNPC, Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari.
The was disclosed in a post on the NNPC social media platform.
“Following GMD NNPC, Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari’s intervention in the National Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO)/Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD) impasse, PTD, has just announced the suspension of its planned strike until closure of discussion between both parties.
“Also, the GMD announced that there would be no increase in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) in the month of May 2021, ” the message read.
