Former President of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has again returned to Bamako, capital city of Mali.
Jonathan arrived in Bamako on Monday afternoon to continue with the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) mediation efforts towards resolving the socio-political crisis in Mali “I arrived Bamako this afternoon to continue with the Ecowas_Cedeao mediation efforts towards resolving the socio-political crisis in Mali.
“My follow-up visit is to engage stakeholders on the implementation of the decisions and roadmap endorsed by the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of States and Government after their Extraordinary Virtual Summit held on July 27, 2020.
“As West Africans, we have a shared destiny and should never be tired of rallying round each other to solve problems in our geographical space,” he said.
