Abdulkadir Jelani Danbuga, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who represented Isa-Sabon Birni federal constituency in the House od Representatives, is dead.
Aminu Al-Mustapha (also known as Boza), the Sokoto State House of Assembly member for Sabon Birni South, confirmed the death of the federal legislator.
According to Boza, Danbuga died on Wednesday at 12:30 a.m. after a brief illness.
He was reportedly admitted to the hospital around Tuesday midday.
“His remains would be taken to the National Mosque for the bathing ritual after which it would be flown to Sokoto for burial around 11am,” Almustapha said.
Danbuga is survived by two wives, many children and grandchildren. [African Gazette report]
