Ladi Bako, the wife of Kano State’s first governor, Audu Bako, passed away at the age of 93.
Her daughter, Zainab Bako, confirmed her mother’s death, on Wednesday, saying she died at Kano’s Prime Specialist Hospital after a long illness.
Her funeral will be held at Kano’s Emir’s Palace in Kofar Kudu.
