The Iraqi Intelligence Service announced the death of an officer following a drone attack targeting its headquarters in Baghdad.
In a statement, the agency said the attack, carried out by outlaw groups, struck the vicinity of its facility and resulted in the officer’s death.

The service described the incident as a desperate attempt to hinder its work, affirming that it would continue carrying out its national duties.
Earlier, Iraq’s Security Media Cell had reported that the intelligence headquarters in the Al Mansour area was targeted by a drone. (Qatar News Agency)
