Iran has not agreed to hand over its highly enriched uranium stockpile, a senior Iranian source told Reuters on Sunday.
The source said the nuclear issue wasn’t even part of the preliminary deal with the US.
“The nuclear issue will be addressed in negotiations for a final agreement and are therefore not part of the current deal,” the source said.
There’s also been no agreement to ship Iran’s highly enriched uranium out of the country, the source added.
The statement comes as Tehran and Washington continue talks on a broader deal.
