Integrity Youth Alliance hails NNPC over reopening of Warri Refinery

Integrity Youth Alliance has commended the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd), Malam Mele Kyari for ensuring the reopening of Warri Refinery

In a statement signed by the Board Chairman of Integrity Youth Alliance, Adewole Kehinde, and Secretary, Danjuma Lamido, the group said the intensified efforts of the NNPC Ltd were fast paying off, considering the fact that two refineries, Port Harcourt and Warri, were producing maximally now.

The group said: “We are elated by the news that the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company (WRPC) is going into operation after several years of inactivity, with the 125,000 (bpd) now operating at 60% capacity.

“The Integrity Youth Alliance hopes that Nigeria’s economy will improve and that Nigerians will have simpler living conditions as a result. Mal Mele Kyari, the NNPCL GCEO, took the initiative to make all of these achievable.”
