The Managing Director, Chief Executive officer, Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Senator Gbenga Ashafa, said that the agency will not condone insecurity in its estates across the country.
Senator Ashafa made this remarks on Wednesday in Abuja during the commissioning of a police post on its estaste in partnership with BAM projets and properties,MIXTA Africa at Expressive View Estates located in Lugbe , the outskirt of Abuja.
He maintained that security of lives and properties in its estate is guaranteed through a well thought out arrangement to ensure a secured environment.
He stated that security is a serious business at this point in time in Nigeria
The Managing Director reassured the security agencies, especially the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), stating the resolve to expand and synergise with other security outlets to ensure maximum security of the estates.
He commended the head of security of the police in the area for its continued cooperation in managing the security of lives and properties on its four estates in Abuja.
Responding , the federal Capital Territory police commissioner promised to carry out its statutory duties of securing not only lives and properties, but guaranteeing peace and harmonious coexistence in its estates.
