The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), says it has begun displaying the Preliminary Register of Voter across the 20 local government areas of Bauchi State.

This is contained in a statement on Thursday in Bauchi by Aliyu Hassan-Shaba, Head, Voter Education and Publicity.

He said the exercise would be conducted from April 29 to May 5, in all the local government areas of the state.

Hassan-Shaba said the exercise would avail citizens opportunities to verify details of their information to correct detected errors.

The exercise, he said, would also enable the citizens to make objections to deceased persons, aliens and under-age persons to be removed from the register.
