Due to the upsurge of turnout of voters in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration in Federal Capital Territory (FCT), the Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Mahmud Yakubu, has approved the deployment of more centres to ease registration.
In a statement, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, said the new additional includes CITY CENTRE: Diplomatic Park, Area 1, Gwarimpa: G.S.S Life Camp, Wuse: G.S.S Zone 3, Kabusa: Kabusa Primary School; Lugbe Primary School, Giwa: Gwagwa Primary School, GUI: Gosa Primary School, Karshi Karshi Development Centre, Orozo: Orozo Primary School and Nyanya: G.S.S Nyanya.
Others are Kubwa: LEA Primary School Kubwa, DUTSE-ALHAJI LEA Primary School Dutse, L.E.A Primary School, Dawaki and LEA Primary School, Mpape
Bello said the Commission has deployed 50 IVED machines to these new centres and urges voters to take advantage of these new additional Centers and encourage prospective registrants to be civil and participate in an orderly manner
