The House of Representatives has invited the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Ltd and its four DSDP partners over the importation of Methanol blended Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS) otherwise known as petrol.
The House is to meet with them on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.
While MRS Oil & Gas and Emadeb/Hyde/AY Maikifi/Britainia-U Consortium will meet with the House on Tuesday, February 22, Oando and Duke Oil will take their turn on Wednesday February 23.
All the meetings will be held in Room 141 House of Representatives New Building Extension, National Assembly complex, Abuja.
They are to furnish the House with relevant documents that had to do with the importation of fuel into the country.
Recall, in its plenary on February 10, the House had expressed concerns over the importation of the adulterated fuel and its negative impact on the nation’s economy and ordinary Nigerians.
