The Federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees Migrants and Internally Displaced Person’s (NCFRMI), Hajiya Imaan-Suleiman, has felicitated the internally displaced persons (IDPs) and Persons of Concern (POC) on the occasion of Christmas.
Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim, in a media statement, joined millions of IDPs and Persons of Concern in Nigeria in celebrating this year’s Christmas and new year.
She expressed satisfaction on the level of attention been enjoyed by IDPs from both public and the private sector, saying this was a departure from the previous order.
She maintained her satisfaction with the engagement outlets created by the commission to provide skills and capacity buildings for the vulnerables, including wealth creation.
The Honorable Federal Commissioner appreciated the present administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for giving adequate and needed attention to the IDPs across the country.
She promised to initiate more innovations that will place them in a more productive outlook rather than a liability as it was previously the order of the day.
The Honourable Federal Commissioner reiterated the commitment of the federal government towards the provision of the highest form of sustainable and durable solution to All Persons of Concern in ensuring their rehabilitation, reintegration and resettlement.
She wished them many more celebration of Christmas and a prosperous new year.
