Veteran Ijaw gospel artist Pastor Bannerman Embiowei has appealed to Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), and Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri to assist him in acquiring musical instruments to advance his ministry.

In a conversation with Niger Delta Herald in Yenagoa, the 73-year-old Amassoama native, a cornerstone of Ijaw gospel since 1985, explained that the equipment would enhance his performances.

With over 40 songs, including tributes to Jasper Adaka Boro, the Ijaw National Congress (INC) American Chapter, and Ijaw Women in the Americas, he remains energetically devoted to his craft.

Confident in the generosity of Dr. Ogbuku and Governor Diri, Pastor Embiowei said he believed their support would bolster his mission and bring divine rewards.
