Igbobi College Old Boys Association, IC0BA, has felicitated a member of the association, Senator Yisa Braimoh, on his 80th birthday.
Senator Braimoh turned 80 years on Friday, August 12, 2022.
In a statement by ICOBA president, Mr Olumiyiwa Kinoshi, the asssociation said it rejoiced with “our very Distinguished former Senator of the Federal Republic, Yisa Braimoh Std. No. 1100 who is an active member of the 61/63 Set, on the auspicious occasion of his 80th birthday celebration.”
“The Holy Books teach us to number our days and count our blessings that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
“The old age in Islam is so highly valued that it is emphasized as a notion occupying a place right after having faith in Tawhid and its components.
“We recall his giant strides as a student in Oluwole house, donning the colours of Igbobi College as a member of the Football 1st XI (the I.C. Rockets).
“He went further to fly the flag of lgbobi College as a Businessman Extraodinaire and an outstanding Entrepreneur in the Entertainment Industry, establishing a hospitality concern that made Jazz music gain roots in the central part of the Federal Capital Territory.
“He made a successful foray into politics, becoming a Senator in the 60 National Assembly representing Edo North Senatorial District.
“A quintessential gentleman, a jolly good fellow an Old Igbobian and a Noble Nigeria.
“On behalf of the National Executive Council and the entire ICOBA Family worldwide, I celebrate you as you turn 80 years old,
“Congratulations, Sir,” the association said in a statement.
