Protesters converged on the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, on Thursday, to protest against bad governance, high cost of food and response to the economic hardship.
The protesters complied with a court order restricting them to the facility.
Protesters gathered as early as 6 am singing solidarity songs.
Present at the stadium are heavily armed security operatives.
