The All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives’ aspirant for Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Constituency, Hon. Ismaila Kolawole, and his teeming supporters have rejected the result of the Friday primary election.
According to Hon Kolawole in a press statement issued and made available to journalists in Osogbo, the Osun state capital on Sunday, the result of the primary was altered in favour of the candidate he described as “their own preferred candidate.”
Kolawole, while demanding justice over the allegations he raised, urged the electorate to remain calm, saying he knew that justice would definitely prevail.
Hon Kolawole said, “as a matter of fact, the result given to my agents at the different wards were later altered in favour of their preferred candidate while in some wards the election was manufactured which led to the total rejection of the result by me and my teeming supporters from across the constituency.”
Kolawole appealed to the electorate to be calm, urging them not to take law into their hands.
“I Ismaila Kolawole appreciate you all for demonstrating total support and love to me and you have shown to me before, during and even after the just concluded House of Representatives primaries on Friday that you are all in love with me.
“I am overwhelmed by you all for the timely unalloyed support and I pray that your efforts will not be in vain while very soon we shall eat the fruit of the land, God will love you all in all ramifications in Jesus name,” he concluded.
