An official of Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos State, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, has returned misplaced $70,000 to a customer in the state.
The hotel official reportedly recovered the money from a bag left in the facility by a guest.
Mary was said to have immediately reported the incident to the hotel management, who later returned the money to the owner.
Confirming the recovery, the General Manager of Eko Hotel and Suites, Danny Kioupouroglou, said: “This incident is a testament to the honesty and integrity of our staff members.
“At Eko Hotel and Suites, we pride ourselves on our commitment to ethical conduct and exceptional customer service.
