Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Morocco defender, Achraf Hakimi, has reportedly secured his property after his wife, Hiba Abouk, handed him a divorce.
Hakimi was able to secure his wealth as he named all his assets with his mother as the benefactor.
It was gathered that 36-year-old Abouk, who took the PSG star to court to claim his property through a divorce, demanded more than half of the player’s assets and fortune during the proceedings.
It was however learned that about 80 per cent of Hakimi’s monthly PSG salary, which amounts to around €1 million goes to his mother.
Abouk, a Spanish actress, would have an equal share of his €70 million worth of assets if the separation had succeeded.
The Morocco defender, however, had no cars, houses, jewelry, and other properties in his name.
Hakimi was in March 2023 charged with rape.
The 24-year-old defender was questioned by French prosecutors about accusations made by a 24-year-old woman and subsequently charged.
The Madrid-born player, who was a key part of Morocco’s historic run to the semi-finals of the World Cup in Qatar last year, was alleged to have paid for his accuser to travel to his home in the Paris suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt in February 2023 while his wife and children were away on holiday.
The woman was reported to have gone to a police station and was questioned by prosecutors.
Hakimi’s wife, it was learned, failed to publicly defend her husband when the allegations began.
The Spanish actress and the PSG star have two children together, both boys, born in 2020 and 2022.
