A group, under the aegis of APC Collectives, is seeking immediate dissolution and reversal to status quo ante bellum of the Ward Congress in Lagos State.
The group is asking invited the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) to take notice that the Ward Congress Appeal Committee appointed for Lagos State was not properly constituted as one of the members of the Committee, Hon. Wasiu D. Banjo is not qualified to serve in the Ward Congress Appeal Committee as he is a partisan member of the APC in Lagos State.
The group in a petition contended that the Ward Congress Appeal Committee was not composed in accordance with the applicable provisions, extant guidelines and regulations and its activities and actions were expressly tainted by the membership of Hon. Wasiu D. Banjo.
