Gordon Ramsay has scored a Guinness World Record by making the largest beef wellington in history.

The TV chef created the dish alongside TikTok star Nick DiGiovanni, who was going for his eighth record since 2021.

The pair said the pastry-wrapped creation weighed 25.76kg – the same as an eight-year old boy.

Using his signature beef wellington recipe, Ramsay disclosed they had prepared 18kg of beef, which was held in place by some tasty-sounding “meat glue”.

The other ingredients were flat mushrooms, Parma ham, English mustard, puff pastry, egg yolks, new potatoes, garlic, thyme, and seasoning.

Once he’d finished wrapping the meat mix in the pastry for cooking, the Kitchen Nightmares star described the huge beef wellingtons as “delicious”and “beautiful”.

Guinness World Records adjudicator Andrew Glass was on hand to record the official results, confirming that the wellington had beaten the minimum weight requirement of 20kg.

Thrilled with their achievement, Ramsay, 56, lifted Glass onto his shoulders and told the astonished official that he loved him. (Mirror)
