The auditorium and the surrounding facilities were filled to the brim. The congregation was gaily dressed. The atmosphere was electrifying as the mood was positively infectious. Everyone and everything was set for the celebration of the 64th birthday of Pastor Wole Oladiyun, the 25th anniversary of the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM), and the monthly thanksgiving service of the Ministry.
Pastor Wole Oladiyun and his wife were resplendent in their white outfits, and the cheerfulness they displayed was infectious.
In his brief speech, Pastor Oladiyun disclosed that God gave birth to the CLAM vision 25 years ago, and He has nurtured and sustained it. “God has fulfilled what He told me about CLAM and I am grateful. I thank God for calming the storms and helping us to overcome the various challenges and tribulations that have come our way”, he added.
Pastor Oladiyun paid tributes to his parents, his in-laws, and all that God has used. “I bless the name of God for my foundation. I thank God for the investment and legacies left behind by my parents. I thank God for the lives of my parents-in-law. I thank God for the CLAM family. God has been faithful in all ways. I thank my wife, Pastor Mrs. Bukola Oladiyun, for supporting the vision. I thank my children and grandchildren. I thank the CLAM trustees, the leadership of the Ministry, all the ministers, and workers”.
The Guest Minister, Pastor Seyi Oladimeji of Church Management Consult, who spoke on “The blessedness of possessing God”, stated that God is a promise keeper. According to him, the story of CLAM is a confirmation of that statement.
“When God wants to bless a man, he creates a hunger in him. When God wants to use a man, he first empties him. If you are not empty, you cannot serve God with the junk you are carrying about”, Pastor Oladimeji added.
Pastor Oladimeji recalled CLAM’s humble beginning and told the audience how Pastor Oladiyun played many roles at the same time when the Ministry was still struggling to find its feet. “I witnessed it all. He was the drummer, the announcer, the preacher, etc. He was all over the place”, he said.
He said Pastor Wole Oladiyun is passionate about God and the things of God. The transformation that has taken place in CLAM is phenomenal, he noted, adding that CLAM started with nothing but God has been there all along.
“God is a God of process and you cannot circumvent that process. Behind every glory, there is a story. The story of CLAM inspires us and confirms that God is indeed a faithful God.”
He added: “You cannot reduce a revelation to an instruction. God is a promise keeper. He has the ability to bring His words and promises to pass once you activate your faith. You can’t have access to whatever is not in the will of God with you”.
Pastor Oladimeji advised the congregation to learn to let go of the past. “The past is gone. Let go of it. Don’t allow the past to tamper with the present and future that God has in stock for you”, he stressed.
Rev. Dr.David K. Aboderin, the General Overseer and Senior Pastor of Faith Family Bible Church, blessed Pastor Wole Oladiyun, his family, and CLAM. He commended him for his consistency, sincerity of purpose, and faithfulness to the things of God.
