The Bank of Ghana has issued a directive banning the pricing, advertising, receipting or making payments for goods and services in foreign currencies in the country.
The directive was issued in a statement released on Thursday, April 7, 2022.
The statement said that the legal currency in Ghana was the Cedis and should be the only means of exchange.
