Senator Barnabas Gemade, who contested for the guber ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Benue State, but lost both in the field and in court, has put behind all acrimony and hostility ahead of the crucial March 18 guber polls.
In a statement on Thursday, Gemade sued for peace and asked supporters to vote for the APC across board in the elections.
Read the statement by his media aide, Comrade Solo Dzuah, entitled: “GEMADE SUES FOR ONENESS AS HE ASKS SUPPORTERS TO VOTE APC” hereunder:
“As we go to the polls this Saturday to vote for a new government in the state, Sen. Barnabas Gemade has sued for oneness and a hitch free elections, asks Gaav stakeholders to massively vote for the All Progressives Congress.
“Chief Gemade, and Chief Akaagerger in a meeting in Korinya City this evening charged them to mobilize to ensure their votes count, and surmount other parties.
“The former federal lawmakers and APC Chieftains also called on their teams to fervently pray and work for the success and hitch free elections in the local government as they look forward to celebrating victory of the party in the end.”
