Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sundatmy Igboho, on Wednesday, apologised to the Ooni of Ife for insulting hom and dragging his nane in the mud.

He had insinuated the royal father into some financial compromise.
On Wednesday, Igboho released another video wherein he was full of apologies to the Ooni, saying his disparaging comments against the influential monarch was unwarranted and in bad taste.
He said his comments during an Instagram Live appearance was a slip of the tongue.
He claimed that he could not have been bold enough to repeat what he said before Enitan Ogunwusi, who is the king of the historic Yoruba town of Ile-Ife since 2015.
Speaking in Yoruba in the video on Facebook Wednesday night, Igboho said he was frustrated about widespread abductions and killings linked to Fulani herdsmen.
He said it was frustrating to see Yoruba leaders unable to muster the courage and will to and up and speak with Presudent Buhari, a Fulani, on the matter.
Igboho said his agitation for the expulsion of criminal Fulani elements from Yoruba land was a propelled by the imperative to free and secure the future of Yoruba.
The video posted by Isokan Omo Odua TV.
Igboho stated that he had been in touch with the Ooni, and that he had had discussions with him.
He disclosed that he apologised to the monarch who assured him of his forgiveness.
The Ooni’s Palace has yet to officially confirm Igboho’s story or claim about his apology and Ooni’s forgiveness.
