Four more kidnapped Bethel Baptist High School students regain freedom

The message, circulated via WhatsApp, on Monday night was breezy. The headline was profoundly heart-warming.
Read it: “BREAKING GOOD NEWS FROM BETHEL BAPTIST HIGH SCHOOL, KADUNA”.
The message claimed that four additional students have been recovered.
According to the post, “They escaped from the camp of the bandits last night (Sunday).
“So, we had 32 as of last night (Sunday, July 25) instead of 28.
“With the 6 that were earlier rescued, we now have 38 students out of the hands of the bandits from the 121 students kidnapped.
“We are now expecting 83 to be released. Thanks for all your support and prayers. Let the fire keep on burning on the Altar till all the captives are freed in Jesus’ Name.”
Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kaduna State, Rev. John Hayab, confirmed the development in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Kaduna.
“Yes, another four students escaped from their abductors on Sunday, July 25, and have been reunited with their parents,” Hayab said.
He said that in spite of the latest development, 83 students were still in captivity.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalled that bandits in the early hour of July 5, invaded the school and kidnapped an unspecified number of students.
The Police Command in Kaduna, through the Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige, has confirmed the development. (NAN).
Recall that 28 more abducted students of the Bethel Baptist Secondary School in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State were reported to have regained their freedom in the early hours of Sunday, July 25.
The students were found inside the Tsoho Gaya Forest in Chikun Local Government Area of the state.
