A former Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Mohammed Inuwa Wushishi has died.
The late Gen.Wushishi, who served as Chief of Army Staff from 1981 to 1983 during the Second Republic, died in London, according to Solacebase, which quoted a source.
Mohammed Inuwa Wushishi, born in Niger State in 1940, enlisted in the army on 21 April 1961, and attended the Nigerian Military Training College, Kaduna.

He was commissioned as a second lieutenant on January 12, 1962.
