Fire guts Trademore Estate market In Abuja, destroys multimillion naira goods

It was complete devastation on Monday morning as fire gutted Trademore Estate market in Lugbe, Abuja.

All the shops and stalls were completely razed, leaving tears and monumental losses running into several millions of naira in its wake.

THE CONCLAVE reports that the fire started at 3 am.

The immediate cause of the Inferno had yet to be implicated as of the time of this report.

It took the intervention of the fire fighters stationed at Rivers Park Estate on Airport Road to put out the fire. They came in late after the fire had raged uncontrollably, destroying everything.

The Trademore Estate does not have provision for standby fire fighting services.

As of the time of this report, the firefighters were at the market to ensure that the last flame was put out and the place effectively cordoned off.
