Federal Government has called for productive research and development of environment-friendly products.
The call was made on Thursday by the Minister of Environment, Dr Mohammed Mahmood Abubakar, while commending the the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN)for its contribution towards curtailing the spread of the second wave of COVD-19.
A statement by Director of Press, Federal Ministry of Environment, Saghir el Mohammed said Environment minister commended FRIN for its contribution towards curtailing the spread of the second wave of COVD-19.
It explained that the Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria (FRIN), a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Environment, had developed a very friendly Herbal Blend Hand Sanitizer for use by the general public.
The Ministry’s spokesperson said the Minister of Environment, Dr Abubakar, while commending the effort called for more productive research and development of environment-friendly products for the safety and well being of Nigerians.
