President Bola Tinubu, on Friday morning, sent an executive communication adding the name of Festus Keyamo to the supplementary list of ministers-nominees, which was submitted to the Senate on Wednesday.
Nineteen nominees were in the supplementary list that the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, submitted to the Senate during screening of those in the first batch in the Committee of the Whole.
Keyamo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, from Delta State, served as Minister of State for Labour and Employment in the immediate past administration of Presidrnt Muhammadu Buhari.
He also served as the official spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Orgsnisation that worked for the emergence of the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
He is in the Senate with the nineteen others to be screened by the upper legislative chamber preparatory to confirmation hearing.
