Family remembers the late Kikaose Onyibe, five years after

A former Commissioner of Information in Delta State, Mr Magnus Onyibe has relived the memory of his late daughter, Kikaose, who died five years ago due to wrong medical diagnosis.

Kikaose was a second year Law student of the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom when she took ill, attended to in a hospital and travelled to Nigeria where she died.

It would be recalled that she passed away after surgery for appendicitis in Lagoon Hospital, formerly Gold Cross Hospital, Bourdilon Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

According to media report at the time, the hospital did not have a ventilator to sustain her heart after the surgery.

In a tribute, her father, Magnus Onyibe, mother and sisters, expressed their love for her, how much they have missed her and how alive she is in their hearts although she is no longer with them physically.
