The Security Situation Room, a Unique Platform for Tracking Premium Security Matters in Nigeria, has established a Unique Platform for naming and shaming any security agent in Nigeria, who has established cases of improper behaviour, brutality and untoward “nuances”.
In a statement in Abuja on Sunday, October 1, 2023, the Convener of the Platform-Douglas Ogbankwa Esq, said he was impressed by public support over attack on him by some operatives of the DSS on Edo State.
Read him: “Impressed by the massive support received from both State and Non State Actors in the dastardly attack of my humbleself, by some Officials of the Edo State Command of the DSS , the Security Situation Room has established a new Platform called “Bad Cop”, to serve as an online, real time check on the excesses of all Security Agents, any where in Nigeria.
“All reports must start with the Intro: “Bad Cop” and evidence of your report must be included. We intend to have collaborative activities with all the requisite supervisory bodies of all security agencies.
“I want to take this opportunity to commend the leadership of the NBA led by our President -Y .C. Mikyau SAN, the Chairman of the NBA SARC -Chikwuka Ikwuazom SAN, Mazi Afam Osigwe SAN, the NBA SPIDEL Chair -Aikpokpo Martins Esq., Kunle Edun, the NBA Benin Chairman -Nosa Edo -Osagie Esq. , Prince Collins Ogiegbaen, AICMC, Pius Oiwoh AICMC, Prince Madojemu, Hon Omosede Igbinedion, Gabriel Ehigiator Esq, Felix Isere, Osato Uwagboe, Ivie Elema, Lucky Ayomoto and Rafiu Tolani and others too numerous to mention.

“On the DSS side, I commend the National Director of Legal Services, the New National Detector Public Relations and Strategic Communications, the Edo State Director of DSS and the two Deputy Directors of the State Command who got in touch with me over this matter for their maturity .
“We also thank the Nigerian Media for the swift elocution of the issue with seamless alacrity. We can achieve a whole lot as a people, if we stand together The Media will be important in achieving our new cause.
“The focus is not for compensation, but for moral reparation, not monetary. We are focused on changing the Nigerian psyche and the way citizens are treated.
