The Nigeria Immigration Service said it had received a security report from the presidency on a looming attack on Nigeria’s capital city, Abuja, between 17th and 31st December 2021.
This was disclosed in a memo signed by the service Land Border Patrol Commander, Edirin Okoto.
He said the planned attack is purportedly being led by one Drahmane Ould Ali also known as Mohammed Ould Sidat an Algerian national to be assisted by one Zahid Aminon a Nigerien national.
Okoto added that the report indicates the duo are enroote Nigeria from Mali through Gao and Niger Republic, riding a white Toyota Hilux van with Reg. No¬ AG l’ 7EKV.
He said the terrorists had four Nigerian accomplices who are already embedded in the country, adding that Ali holds Algerian diplomatic passport with the name Najim Ould
