Former governor of Oyo State Adebayo Alao-Akala is dead.
He was 71 years old.
Though details of his death were sketchy, multiple reports said he died in his sleep early today.
Alao-Akala, a former police officer died exactly a month after the monarch of his Ogbomoso town, died.

Until his death, he was a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
