The leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Etsako West in Edo State has queried Alhaji Abubakar Akhokhia for making comments that relegated and discounted the prospects of Edo North Senatorial zone in the race for Edo governorship election in 2024.
Akhokhia had been captured in a viral video wherein he said that Edo North would not produce governor and that his group was supporting a certain aspirant from Edo South senatorial zone for the governorship position.
The specific details of the party’s gravamen against him are contained in a two-page query to him signed by the Etsako West Local Government Secretary if the APC, Pascal Ogie.
