Erelu Modupe Martins, Director-General of Women Mobilization for the Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization in the southern senatorial district, has urged women to come out in large numbers to support Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the upcoming election.
According to Erelu Modupe, Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration had demonstrated exceptional gender sensitivity by appointing women to key positions previously held by men.
She said that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to women’s empowerment was unparalleled.
“By placing women in sensitive positions of authority, he has paved the way for a more inclusive and representative government,” she said.
Erelu Modupe emphasized that women’s participation in politics was crucial for addressing issues affecting women and bringing about positive change.
To support women’s efforts in providing for their children, Erelu Modupe assured them that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration would provide necessary assistance.
“This commitment is a testament to the administration’s dedication to women’s welfare and development,” she stated.
Erelu Modupe, along with former Deputy Speaker Hon. Iroju Ogundeji, Odigbo LG’s party chairman Fatai Olawale, and Alhaji Osho, a member of the Ondo State Boundary Commission, has pledged to work together to ensure a convincing victory for Governor Aiyedatiwa in the November 16 governorship election.
“By working together, we can create a more inclusive and equitable society where women’s voices are heard and valued,” she explained.
