Embattled former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha, spoke Sunday night on circumstances that led to his arrest and detention by the Police on the orders of Governor Hope Uzondinms.
He spoke with TVC News from police detention during which he detailed his travails in the hands of state government officials, an aide of Governor Hope Uzodinma, whom he claimed led thugs to shoot at his aide, in-law, and who shot at his car.
He claimed the attack took place under the nose of policemen attached to the Imo Government House.
Okorocha was reported to have led armed thugs to break into Royal Palm Hotel, his wife’s property, which was earlier recovered from her based on the recommendation of a Judicial Panel and subsequently sealed by state government officials.
Aides of Governor Hope Uzodinma identified as Chinasa Nwaneri and Eric Uwakwe, according to a report by Everyday.ng, were said to have arrived at the place.
